UNIBLOK cattle feed supplement blocks are offered in several different formulations of protein, mineral and vitamin supplements, for use in various feeding programs. The patented formulation of UNIBLOK cattle feed supplement blocks utilizes natural feedstuffs produced in Western Canada, in a molasses-based mixture. The molasses provides palatability to improve acceptance by the animal and helps rumen fermentation, improving feed efficiency.
General Feeding Directions Start feeding UNIBLOK cattle feed supplement blocks by placing the blocks near the watering area and/or loafing area. Commonly all salt sources should be removed from the cattle for a few days to encourage acceptance of the blocks, but afterwards the the salt should be returned. For best results, there should be one feed supplement block for every 20-25 animals. As with any free choice feed, consumption should be continuously monitored, and after one or two weeks the cattle will have adjusted to the blocks and and will be consuming adequate amounts. New blocks should be added before the old blocks are fully consumed. |
